Louis Marx Co Illinois Central O Gauge Work Train Set

This set was brought to the Southern New England Chapter of the Train Collectors Association’s June monthly meeting by John. He has his own channel, ‪@MarxTrainVault‬ , where this set will soon be featured in additional detail. The set is led by a deluxe version of the little 0-4-0 Marx diesel which features a double reduction motor, headlight and scissor type couplers.

Standard gauge Galloping Goose (Wyandotte/Lionel) demo at train club meeting

Joe Fanara shows off his kitbashed “Galloping Goose”, made from the cab of an old Wyandotte truck and bits and pieces from Lionel Standard Gauge rolling stock. The powered car features working headlights, a smoke unit, a Lionel whistle and a mechanical E-Unit.
